The pair earned all-tournament accolades for the second-straight week.

- Volleyball Set to Host Up North Preseason TournamentThe University of Minnesota Duluth Women's Volleyball Team plays at home for the first time in 2025 when it hosts the 2025 Up North Preseason Tournament Sept. 11-13 at Romano Gymnasium. The Bulldogs are set to take on Michigan Tech in their home-opener Thursday at 6 p.m., before facing off with Adelphi Friday at 6 p.m. The Maroon and Gold will close out the event versus Northern Michigan Saturday at Noon. UMD's matches on Thursday and Saturday will air live on My9 Sports.
- Ava Jones Named NSIC Setter of the WeekUniversity of Minnesota Duluth sophomore setter Ava Jones was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Setter of the Week Monday after helping the Bulldogs go 4-0 on their opening weekend of competition.
- Three Named to McKendree Invitational All-Tournament TeamThree University of Minnesota Duluth volleyball players were named to the 2025 McKendree Invitational All-Tournament Team, as voted by tournament head coaches. Senior middle blocker Kylie Broten, junior right side hitter Madeline Guetzkow and sophomore setter Ava Jones all earned a spot on the team, with Broten garnering Most Valuable Player accolades.

The Bulldogs notched a season-opening 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-14, 25-16) victory over Southwest Oklahoma State University, before knocking off host McKendree 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-19) in the nightcap.
- Volleyball Opens 2025 Campaign at McKendree InvitationalThe University of Minnesota Duluth Women's Volleyball Team is set to open its 2025 campaign at the McKendree Invitational Sept. 5-6 in Lebanon, Ill. The Bulldogs open the event Friday against Southwestern Oklahoma State University at 11:30 a.m., before taking on host McKendree at 7 p.m. UMD will conclude play in the event Saturday with matches against Purdue Northwest at 11:30 a.m. and against University of Missouri-St. Louis at 4:30 p.m. All matches will be played at the Harry M. Statham Sports Center located inside the Melvin Price Convocation Center (MPCC).
