The University of Minnesota Duluth men's and women's cross country teams are both set to compete in the NCAA II Cross Country Central Region Championships this Saturday in Joplin, Mo., hosted by Missouri Southern University.

The University of Minnesota Duluth men's and women's cross country teams left their marks Friday in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Cross Country Championships in Wayne, Neb. on the Wayne Country Club. The Bulldogs women ran to their second-straight third place finish, while the UMD men finished in ninth.

The race – hosted by the University of Minnesota on the Les Bolstad Golf Course – will get underway at 11:30 a.m. for the Jo Rider Men's Maroon Race, and then 12:15 p.m. for the Suzy Wilson Women's Maroon Race.
