UMD Bulldogs "ALLETE" Moments: Competition

Throughout this year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Power, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs accomplishments in the 3 C's: Classroom, Competition, Community.

Senior outside hitter Cianna Selbitschka has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All American Third Team for the 2023 season.

This news comes soon after being named to the AVCA All Central Region first team just last week. Selbitschka topped the charts for the Bulldog offense this year with team highs in kills (402), points (457.5), and total attacks (1056) through the team's journey up to the first round of the NCAA Division II Central Region tournament. Selbitschka posted three new single game highs this season in assists, blocks, and hitting percentage and was named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All Conference first team for the second time in her collegiate career.

Selbitschka looks to return to the UMD next season to join the Bulldogs for the 2024 season.
