UMD Football Adds Spring Scrimmage Against Bemidji State at Malosky in April

The University of Minnesota Duluth football team will host Bemidji State University for a spring scrimmage on April 17 in James S. Malosky Stadium.

The University of Minnesota Duluth football team will host Bemidji State University for a spring scrimmage on April 17 in James S. Malosky Stadium.

The Bulldogs and Beavers will begin a joint practice at 4:00 p.m. on Griggs Field and a scrimmage will follow afterwards. This scrimmage replaces the annual Maroon and Gold intrasquad scrimmage UMD has had over the years in the the spring.

UMD wrapped up its 89th season of intercollegiate football this past fall with an overall record of 9-2, while going 8-2 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. The Bulldogs finished in a three-way tie for second place in the NSIC in 2023.
