UMD Soccer Unveils 2024 Schedule
The University of Minnesota Duluth soccer team officially released their 2024 season schedule on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs will begin the season at home, with a game against Northern Michigan University on Thursday, September 5 and another against Michigan Technological University on Saturday, September 7. UMD Soccer has opened the season against these two programs since 2018, excluding the 2020 season.
The reigning Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season champions, St. Cloud State University, visit Duluth next. Last time these teams faced off, SCSU eliminated UMD in a close NSIC Quarterfinal. The rematch lands on Friday, September 20.
October will see an even split of four home and four away games. The month features Minot State University, Northern State University, Minnesota State University Moorhead, University of Sioux Falls, and Southwest Minnesota State University, all teams the Bulldogs emerged victorious over in 2023.
The regular season concludes at home on Thursday, November 7. Bemidji State University, the 2024 NSIC post-season champions, will visit for a standings-finalizing match.
