Bulldog Open, Drake Relays and Gary Wilson Invite Await UMD Track and Field this Week
The University of Minnesota Duluth track and field teams will spend the next four days competing across three different meets.
The Bulldogs' busy weekend will kick off this very afternoon, Wednesday, April 23, with a select group of athletes headed down to the University of Minnesota to compete at the Gary Wilson Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn.
Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25 will also see competition from the Bulldogs down in Des Moines, Iowa, for Drake University's 115th Drake Relays.
This exciting week for the track and field teams will come to a dramatic close on Saturday, April 26 for UMD's very own Bulldog Open. This meet will be held right here on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus at Malosky Stadium. Local competition such as the College of St. Scholastica and the University of Wisconsin Superior will be present for the event.
