"Fiber Shredder" turns textile waste into usable fibers

They're calling it the "Fiber Shredder." Abigail Clarke-Sather, associate professor of mechanical engineering at UMD, is partnering with Goodwill to test this new technology and hopes to see it adopted in thrift stores and municipal recycling facilities across the U.S.
