Emma
Hello everyone! My name is Emma Kenkel (she/her), and I am one of the new sustainability student ambassadors! It’s my second year here at UMD, and I am majoring in teaching sciences with a chemistry emphasis (I am an aspiring Ms. Frizzle). I am from Moorhead, MN, but I love being in Duluth! I am passionate about sustainability, info dumping about women in science, teaching, vegan food, fun overalls, and plants; I also love playing board games, listening to music, taking walks, bad puns, baking cookies, and drinking tea :)

Hi! I am Macy Williams and I am a freshman majoring in biochemistry. I am hoping to attend pharmacy school and become a pharmacist. I am originally from Alden, a small town in southern Minnesota. I enjoy playing games, especially card games, and being with my friends and family. I also have a passion for volunteering and serving others to make this world a better place. This is actually part of the reason I chose to be a student ambassador. I want to help be the voice of students here at UMD to ensure they have the best experience possible, specifically with dining on campus. I am excited for my years to come here at UMD and my future experiences being a student ambassador! :)

Hey Bulldogs, what's up?! My name is Linnea Jungwirth and I'm a freshman here at UMD. I grew up in Waconia, Minnesota -- a small, but growing town an hour southwest of the Twin Cities. I'm currently majoring in graphic design with a studio track and I'm honestly really loving what I chose. I love to read, draw, and play my ukulele in my free time. If you haven't read Harry Potter or Throne of Glass, you definitely should! I'm excited to be a student ambassador because not only do I get to help you guys, but I'll be there to help grow our community and dining experience on campus. Also, fun fact, I got my black belt in karate and I was in color guard for two years with the WMB. P.S. if you want to do color guard we should totally start it back up again here at school too! Let me know if you'd be interested!

My name is Ella Stewart and I am a freshman at UMD. I am triple majoring in Political Science, International Studies, and Environment Sustainability. I am interested in law but haven’t decided my plans after college. I am from Forest Lake, Minnesota near the Twin Cities. I love the outdoors and enjoy activities like hiking and sea kayaking. I am excited to be a Student Ambassador because I want to promote sustainability on campus and I love planning events.

Hi everyone, my name is Liza Ruegemer and I am super excited to be one of your Student Ambassadors! I'm from Mound Minnesota and am a freshman this year. I am planning on majoring in Criminology and minoring in Psychology. Some things I like to do are travel, hike, and be on the lake. I'm glad I get to work with everyone this year to get feedback on changes you as students would like to see in UMD Dining!!
