A certain senior second baseman has a new moniker -- All-American Nicole Schmitt.The University of Minnesota Duluth softball's Nicole Schmitt was minted the newest title Wednesday when she was name to the National Fastpitch Coaches Assocation All-American First Team. The Verona, Wis. native is the first Bulldog to be bestowed the citation since the 2018 trio of Hannah Schmoll, Becky Smith and Natalie Wright.
