The University of Minnesota Duluth soccer team and Augustana University played to a 1-1 tie Friday night at James S. Malosky Stadium in Duluth, Minn. It was the home opener for the Bulldogs, doubling as the first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action in Duluth this season.

The University of Minnesota Duluth soccer team will finally play a home game this weekend when it welcomes Augustana University Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. to Malosky Stadium in one of two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games in Duluth, Minn. this weekend. The second will get underway at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday when the Bulldogs welcome Wayne State University.

The University of Minnesota Duluth soccer team is 2-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play after shutting out the University of Sioux Falls 2-0 on Bob Young Field in Sioux Falls, SD Sunday afternoon.

The University of Minnesota Duluth soccer team scored two corner kick goals Friday afternoon at Mattke Field at the Schwan Regional Event Center in Marshall, Minn. to earn a 2-1 win over Southwest Minnesota State University in opening Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.
