- Franny Seidel Qualifies for NCAA Cross Country ChampionshipsUniversity of Minnesota Duluth fifth-year senior Franny Seidel has qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships. The championships will be held Saturday, November 23 at Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, California. Sacramento Sports Commission and California Collegiate Athletic Association will serve as the host. The men's race will begin at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, followed by the women's race at 2:15 p.m. Eastern.

- UMD Cross Country's Elizabeth VanLoon Named 2024 NSIC Elite 18 Award WinnerUniversity of Minnesota Duluth junior runner Elizabeth VanLoon was named the 2024 NSIC Elite 18 Award winner for women's cross country Saturday afternoon. VanLoon was presented the award during the post championship ceremony at the NSIC Cross Country Championships, which were held Saturday at Souris Valley Golf Course in Minot, N. D. and hosted by Minot State University.
