The early season productive offense of the University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey team ran into a hot goaltender Saturday night at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minn. and the result was a 4-0 shutout of the Bulldogs by Augustana University.

The scoring is coming in waves so far this season for the University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey team, and Friday night at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minn. was no different. The Bulldogs swamped Augustana University with four second period goals to cruise to a 4-1 win over the Vikings in game one of the series.

After opening the season on the road, the University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey team will open up AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minn. this Friday and Saturday with a nonconference series against Augustana University. Both nights will feature a taligate behind the DECC ahead of the game. Friday night's skate will get underway at 7:07 p.m., while Saturday is set to start at 6:07 p.m.
