Men's Hockey

A whopping 10 current University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey freshmen, and 11 in total, earned 2024-25 NCHC Academic All-Conference Team nods Monday after having completed a full academic year a UMD, including eight that earned NCHC Distguished Scholar-Athlete status.

University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey players Braden Fischer and Trevor Stachowiak have been named American Hockey Coaches Association All-American Scholars for maintaining at least 3.75 GPA in each semester of the season. In addition to their academic achievements, players had to appear in at least 40% of their team's games, with an exception for injured players and back-up goaltenders.

University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey player Joey Pierce earned a spot on the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams selected by College Sports Communicators, that recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
