University of Minnesota Duluth redshirt freshman tight end Luke Dehnicke has been selected as a 2025 American Football Coaches Association Division II First Team All-American Wednesday.

The five University of Minnesota Duluth athletic teams that competed during the 2025 fall athletic season had a combined total of 65 student-athletes earn Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic honors, the conference announced Thursday.

Four University of Minnesota Duluth football players have been selected to the D2CCA Football All-Super Region 3 Teams – redshirt freshman tight end Luke Dehnicke was selected to the First Team Offense, redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Carter Geerts earned a selection to the Second Team Offense, senior defensive lineman Mojo Weerts was selected for the Second Team Defense, and redshirt sophomore defensive back Joey Krouse also earned a Second Team Defense selection.
