University of Minnesota Duluth baseball seniors Gabe Richardson and Michael Gabbard were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The five University of Minnesota Duluth athletic teams that competed during the 2026 spring athletic season had a combined total of 81 student-athletes – a department high – earn Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic honors, the conference announced Thursday.

University of Minnesota Duluth baseball senior designated hitter Gabe Ricardson was named to the 2026 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Conference First Team Tuesday, his second postseason honor after earning Second Team accolades in 2024.

The University of Minnesota Duluth baseball team concluded the 2026 regular season Saturday with a 3-2 win over Minnesota State University, Mankato in Northern Sun Intercollegiate action at Bowyer Field in Mankato, Minn. The win handed the three-game series to the Bulldogs, who left Mankato with the 2-1 game advantage.
